The Hangzhou Metro Line 19 (Hangzhou Airport Line) was put into operation on September 22, 2022. Beihai Communication provided advanced passenger information (PIS) systems for all 45 trains, covering three subsystems: train broadcasting (PA), passenger information display (PIDS), and video surveillance (CCTV).

In the passenger compartment, conventional equipment such as speakers, emergency alarms, LCD TVs, LCD dynamic maps, LED through screens, and high-definition cameras are readily available. With the help of train broadcasting and display screens, key information such as operating routes, stations, and transfer instructions are timely and accurately conveyed to passengers, effectively improving travel experience and safety.

It is worth mentioning that this line is the first in the country to be equipped with hearing aid function for hearing-impaired people in the PA system. The hearing aid function converts broadcast audio into electromagnetic field signals by controlling the host and the electromagnetic induction coils installed in the cabin. In this way, hearing-impaired individuals wearing "T" hearing aids can also receive clear broadcast reminders. This design not only reflects care for special groups, but also highlights the humanistic warmth of smart urban rail transit.

Beihai Communication has provided strong technical support for subway operations during the Asian Games with a stable and efficient PIS system, setting a benchmark for intelligent rail transit services.
