On December 28, 2023, Chongqing Rail Transit Line 18 officially began its initial operation, injecting new vitality into the transportation network of the north and south regions of Chongqing and becoming another important backbone line of rail transit. The total length of the line is 29 kilometers, with 19 stations along the way and 37 trains, effectively alleviating the travel pressure in the north-south direction of the city.

Inside the station, these displays show real - time information such as the entrances and exits of the station, the congestion status of passenger flow, the information of surrounding bus connections, and the congestion inside the carriages, which helps passengers plan their travel routes reasonably. It is worth mentioning that Beihai Communication has demonstrated outstanding innovation capabilities in the design of some trains, installing creatively designed circular LCD displays and unique "magic mirrors" for them. Among them, the design of the "magic mirror" is particularly exquisite, equipped with touch function. Under normal conditions, the "magic mirror" is like a regular display screen, capable of smoothly playing multimedia videos and providing passengers with a variety of audio-visual experiences; When passengers touch and switch, it can display real-time images captured by the train camera, making passengers feel as if they are there, directly seeing the real-time status of the track in front of the train.
