Dalian, July 7 (Yang Yi, reporter from China News Service) The first LRV exported by CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. to Lagos, Nigeria, officially completed the debugging work in the factory on July 7th and started to be packaged and shipped. This means that urban rail vehicles produced in China will be exported to Africa for the first time.
Lagos, the economic hub of Nigeria, has a population of approximately 17.5 million, creating a high demand for public transportation among its residents. The 27KM- long Lagos Blue Line is the first LRV in Lagos . The convenient and comfortable rail transition mode is expected to change the congested urban road traffic situation.
